Why Mama knows best

We all heard this before right. “You better listen to me because I am your mama and know what's best for you.” Usually a statement like that comes at a time of a debate over something you feel is right but your mom wants yourself to see the light. It also comes when you try to persuade mom into something for your benefit. Then she shoots it down immediately because she sees the direction that it is heading and it’s nowhere good.
